The sky was still dark and it was a very cold morning when the Eastsiders chili crew arrived at Kingwood Harley Davidson parking lot to set up their booths. Some came in trucks with trailers loaded with their supplies for the big day ahead. Others came on their bikes. Everyone was wearing their jerseys in support of their red and gray nation. All came to lend a hand  to their brothers and sisters competing for the First place trophy.

As the sun warmed up around the anxious teams other venders began arriving with their goods to sell. There were jewelry vendors, Silver was there setting up her machines getting ready to attend to bikers wanting new patches for their kutts. Arts and craft vendors were displaying their merchandise for those attening the festivities.

People were starting to arrive and the sound of laughter was all around. Friends and Family gathered to judge their favorite chili. There was much excitement filling the booths of the chili cookers as the chili tasters came through for a bowl and to cast their votes.

As the announcer came on the loud speaker, he asked all chili teams to come forward, the votes were in and it was time to hand out the trophies.

Eastsider Rhonda Hutto/Breezy landed 2 trophies for her Good a Nuf Chili with her Blackcat Ridge Cookers.  Jerry Easley/Tinman brought home a trophy for his tasty chili with his Eastsiders Chili Crew.  Beast MC #1 chili took a trophy to their clubhouse for their award willing chili.  High Fives and Cheers to all the winners.  It was a great day for a chili cookoff. Congratulation to the teams.

As the event wrapped up, teams were already making plans for the next cookoff.

Until next time "KEEP IT SPICY"
